WR 'Witt' Stephens Creative Arts Scholarship

Amount: (2) annual awards of $2500 each, payable $1250 per semester

Eligibility Criteria:Member of an Arkansas 4-H Club, FCCLA, FBLA or FFA Chapter and who has exhibited and placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Junior Creative Arts Divisions at agricultural fairs in the State of Arkansas. Minimum GPA 2.5; minimum ACT score 18.

ASPS Scholarship

Amount: $250 to $500

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Must be an Arkansas resident.
  2. Must be enrolled, or have plans to enroll in an environmental field.
  3. Must be at least a sophomore.
  4. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA (Based on 4pt. System)
  5. Must demonstrate financial need.
  6. Application must include past transcripts and a short essay about yourself and your proposed career goals with your degree.

Arkansas Student Loan Authority

R. Preston Woodruff, Jr. Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 and one $1,000 renewable for four years

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be either a resident of Arkansas who will be attending an in-state or out-of-state postsecondary education institution or an out-of-state student attending a postsecondary education institution in Arkansas. Postsecondary education institution refers to a 2 or 4 year university, college, technical or trade school.
  • The applicant must plan to be enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the fall 2007 - spring 2008 academic year and must be enrolling on at least a half-time basis.
  • You may enter using the on-line Entry Form or by submitting a postcard to the Arkansas Student Loan Authority 101 E. Capitol Avenue Suite 401 Little Rock, AR 72201 with applicant name, address, daytime and home phone numbers, post-secondary education institution name and address and tell us if you are an Arkansas resident.
