Sigma Phi Epsilon

Balanced Man Scholarship

Amount: $1500

Eligibility Criteria:The Balanced Man Scholarship is offered by Sigma Phi Epsilon to all male students currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas. Having experienced college, I know the beginning of a new year can be financially difficult. The scholarship we offer is designed to alleviate some of this financial stress.

The Ancient Greeks believed that a body's good health was vital as it is the vessel of the mind. Thus, we believe in the Balanced Man Ideal – living a balanced life encompassing Sound Mind and Sound Body.

This scholarship recognizes those students whose awards, achievements, academic performance, and extra curricular activities are consistent with the Balanced Man philosophy of Sigma Phi Epsilon. The scholarship is available for all male students, not solely for students planning on joining a fraternity.
