- Dependent children, stepchildren or legally adopted children of Army Soldiers on active duty, retired or deceased while in active duty or retired status.
- The children of Grey Area Reservists/National Guard are eligible as retired members.
- Academic achievements and individual accomplishments may be considered.

Overseas Spouse Education Assistance
Amount: up to half the cost of tuition, based on financial need, as evidenced by income, assets, family size, and special circumstances
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a spouse of a Soldier on active duty assigned in Europe, Korea, Japan, or Okinawa
- Applicant must physically reside with Soldier at the assigned location
- Second undergraduate degrees are not eligible
- Graduate and off post students are not eligible
- Spouses may be part time or full time students

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be a spouse of an active or retired Army Soldier and must reside in the United States
- Applicant must be a widow(er) of an active or retired Army Soldier and must reside in the United States
- Stateside applicants must be full time students
- Active Duty military personnel are not eligible.
- First undergraduate degrees only.

Amount: $3,000
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nursing students who plan to enter a component of the US Army and are enrolled in a program not funded by a component of the US Army.
- Nursing students who have previously served in a component of the US Army.
- Army Nurse Corps officers in a component of the US Army enrolled in a nursing or other eligible program not funded by the US Army.
- Army enlisted soldiers in a component of the US Army enrolled in a nursing program not funded by the US Army.
- Nursing students whose parent(s) and/or spouse are or have served in a component of the US Army.
